Mount Pleasant man a finalist in iVillage 'Hot Dad' contest. Results announced on national TV Friday morning.

A Mount Pleasant man is a finalist in iVillage's "Hot Dad" contest. He'll find out during a live broadcast of the "Today" show Friday if he's the winner of the national title.
Harry Farthing has already won the title of "Hottest Dad Over 40," capturing 15,000 votes and beating out more than 1,500 other dads in his age bracket. He's competing with eight other men for the tot title.
Farthing's photo was captured at 26,000 feet while hiking in the Himalayas. His wife entered him in the contest.

The results will be announced on the "Today" show with Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb between 10 a.m. and 10:40 a.m., according to iVillage. The winners have been selected from a four-woman panel including E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic and Patch.com Chief Content Officer Rachel Feddersen.
