This cable-stayed bridge spans the Cooper River and connects Mount Pleasant to downtown Charleston. The bridge is a popular spot for locals to walk, jog or bike, and the views of the Charleston skyline are simply breathtaking.
• Shem Creek is a popular spot for dining, shopping and outdoor recreation. This tidal creek is home to a variety of seafood restaurants, where you can enjoy fresh local seafood while watching the boats come and go. You can also rent kayaks or paddleboards to explore the creek on your own.
• Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in military history. The museum is home to the USS Yorktown, a World War II aircraft carrier that served in the Pacific Theater.
