New Restaurant Planned for The Boulevard

Maverick Southern Kitchens has plans to open a new restaurant in The Boulevard development on Coleman Boulevard.

Owners of High Cotton and the Old Village Post House, Maverick is reportedly planning a 145-seat restaurant on the ground floor of the mixed-used development, according to reports.

The restaurant announcement comes roughly a month before high-end food store Southern Season plans a grand opening across the street.

The town is pushing hard for a more downtown-like feeling along Coleman Blvd. A road project underway is adding a parkway, on-street parking, street lamps and other features to make for a more pedestrian-friendly environment.

Future plans call for large-scale overhaul for all of Coleman Blvd. from the bridge to to Chuck Dawley Blvd.
