Patriots Point Bans Loud Concerts
Following noise complaints, Patriots Point says it will no longer host 'manufactured' musical performances.

A slew of noise complaints following a Thursday electronic music festival has prompted a ban of "manufactured" music performances at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum.
But if social networks are any indication, the organizers Harbor City Fest, the music festival in question, are proud of the negative attention and plan to push forward with a repeat concert next year, apparently in a different location.
"Last night there was a concert rental event at Patriots Point and we received numerous complaints about the noise level of the music," said Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette.

"Concerts like the one held last night are lucrative for us. However, the revenue generated is not worth our risking the friendship and support we have worked so hard to earn from our neighbors," Burdette wrote.
But the organizers Harbor City Fest congratulated the crowd on creating a rauccus event on the photo-blog site Instagram.
