Patriots Point Celebrates July 4th
Thousands celebrate country's birth from the deck of historic aircraft carrier.
More than 2,400 people packed the deck of the historic USS Yorktown at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant to watch fireworks over Charleston Harbor. Thousands more watched from the shore, from Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and the South Carolina Aquarium. The Yorktown fireworks show is in its second year.Â
