Poll: Cruises in Mount Pleasant?
Two years on, Charleston still divided on the business, but is there support for cruises here?

People are still divided, two years on, over whether Charleston's 2-year-old, year-round cruise industry is good or bad for the community.
Ultimately the courts may decide the issue, and that leads some folks — albeit in unofficial circles — to ask whether a cruise passenger terminal on the Mount Pleasant side of the river makes sense.
Just to be clear, the South Carolina Ports Authority and the City of Charleston are fighting tooth and nail to keep the proposed $35 million terminal on the Peninsula, despite a public uproar over the project.
