Ribbon Cut on Johnnie Dodds Expansion
Full route should be complete by March, at latest.

County and municipal officials on Monday cut the ribbon on the first phase of the expansion of Johnnie Dodds Boulevard.
Though finishing work still remains incomplete, the biggest portion of the work — adding two lanes in either direction from the Ravenel Bridge to Bowman Road — has been complete for roughly two weeks.
Two other projects along U.S. 17 are still in progress. Crews are in the final phases of construction on the Hungryneck Blvd. overpass. And work is nearly complete on expansion work north of the Isle of Palms Connector.
