Roper St. Francis Opens After-Hours Practice

Roper St. Francis Physician Partners will provide primary care on weekday evenings and Saturdays beginning Thursday, March 1, at a new location in Mount Pleasant.

The new hours are ideal for busy professionals, working parents and patients should they get sick over the weekend, Roper St. Francis officials say.

"Extended hours bring our practice a step closer to our vision of providing a medical home for our patients," said Valerie Scott, MD. "After Hours Care – Mount Pleasant will offer our patients personalized, coordinated and comprehensive primary care when they need it and when it is convenient for them."

Roper St. Francis After Hours Care — Mount Pleasant is located at 767 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. The practice can be reached at 843-402-LATE. Operating hours are Monday through Friday 5-9 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The first Roper St. Francis After Hours Care opened last year on James Island at 325 Folly Rd. Suite 101.

Roper St. Francis Physician Partners is comprised of a network of approximately 200 physicians in seven counties throughout South Carolina.
