The snow event will be over by 1 a.m., and most forecasters do not expect there to be much accumulation, except for parts of Berkeley County near Lake Moultrie, which may experience some accumulation.
Though the snow is not expected to cause much of a disturbance, the Weather Service warns that freezing roads may be an issue as cold and windy conditions mix with wet roadways.

The rest of Sunday will be awfully cold and blustery, according to forecasts. Temperatures will linger in the 30s for most of Sunday morning. The high all day will only rise to the mid 40s. The chilly weather will continue into the work week.
In addition to the snow advisory, the Weather Service also has issued a wind warning. Travel over bridges may be dangerous as wind gusts reach 30 mph over the next 24 hours. Those gusts, combined with the potential for frozen roadways, could make travel unsafe.
