Southern Season Set for Sept. 5 Grand Opening
Store filling former Coleman Blvd. space left vacant by Food Lion's Closure.

The much-anticipated gourmet cooking and food store, Southern Season, is set for a Sept. 5 grand opening, according the retailer's web site.
The Chapel Hill, N.C, based store plans an 8:30 a.m. ribbon cutting followed by a day full of samples and other festivities.
Here's a rundown of what's planned for Sept. 5:
- 8:30 AM - Ribbon cutting ceremony
- 9:00 AM - Doors open to the public
- 9 - 10AM - Storewide Southern Season samples
- 10 AM - 6PM - Vendor demonstrations throughout the store
- 12 - 2PM - Storefront live music, grilling and $1 hotdogs to benefit theShare the Food Foundation
- 4 - 7PM - Happy hour on Southerly outdoor patio
- 5PM - Thursdays Uncorked wine tasting in the Cooking School
- 6 - 9PM - Storewide Southern Season samples
