Teacher Fired for Showing R-Rated Movie

Wando teacher had been on paid leave since Feb. 15.

The Wando High School teacher who showed students an R-rated movie has been terminated, according to a school system statement.

Christopher Poston, 36, was apparently terminated Wednesday after an internal investigation into the matter. Police reports indicate Poston showed a group of students several minutes of a lewd comedy in which an actor placed his sock-puppet-covered genitalia into a cage with a posionous snake.
