Wando Cross Country Team to Host Flapjack Fundraiser
Applebee's hosts pancake fundraisers for local non-profits.

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to partner with the Wando High School Cross Country Team to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, October 13, 2012. All proceeds raised will go towards team expenses.
“The Wando High School Cross Country Team is in need of funds to offset the purchase of uniforms, travel accommodations, camp expenses and competition costs,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Please support these young runners and position them for success by coming out to the Flapjack Fundraiser on October 13th.”
The Wando Cross Country Team fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 1486 Stuart Engles Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC, starting at 8 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $10and can be purchased by contacting Marie Domin at (843) 324-5032. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.

Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local nonprofit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
