Washed Out Bridge Re-Opens

The Brickyard Plantation bridge that gave way over the weekend, collapsing under the weight of three young men, has been temporarily repaired, according to media reports.

The bridge approach, which runs over a creek in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, was washed out by a leaking town water main, according to the newspaper.
