1. Put away your rain gear (if you dare) and put on some sunscreen. The weather forecast for today promises to be mostly sunny and rain-free.

2. The Simpsonville City Council will hold its regular meeting at City Hall at 118 N.E. Main Street beginning at 6:30 p.m. 

3. A group of City Hall critics that sprang up after the firing of former Police Chief Keith Grounsell will be holding a "Rally for Transparency" outside City Hall prior to the City Council meeting, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The peaceful rally is "asking for truth and transparency and the resignation of Matthew Gooch, Brown Garrett, George Lee Curtis and Perry Eichor."
