Aloft: Up, Up and Away in Their Beautiful Balloons

Memorial Day is the last day to experience Aloft (formerly Freedom Weekend Aloft) in Simpsonville — and organizers are making it easier to attend.

For each $12 general admission ticket purchased, attendees can get another ticket for FREE.

The event on Monday, Memorial Day, will run from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. — plenty of time to experience all the event has to offer: lots of diverse food, music, beer and refreshments, rides, outdoor events such as ziplining and paddleboarding, and other forms of entertainment, not to mention the event's signature hot-air balloon releases in the morning and evening.

Missed the balloons? Watching 80 balloons take to the heavens is indeed a sight to behold and festival-goers will have the opportunity to experience it two times on Monday — 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and again at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
