Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d. city Tour Stops in Simpsonville

Hip-hop recording artist Kendrick Lamar will be making a stop in the Upstate.

Lamar's "good kid, m.A.A.d city" tour will play Simpsonville's Charter Amphitheatre June 21, according to a press release on PRNewswire.

No official announcement has been made by Charter Amphitheatre regarding ticket sales.

Lamar's debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city was released in October by Top DawgEntertainment, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B Hip-Hop Album and Rap Album charts and as No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The tour officially gets underway May 22 at Las Vegas’ Cosmopolitan with artists ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock.
