Kindergarten Registration Begins Jan. 22

Registration for kindergarten will begin later this month for Greenville County Schools.

Children who will be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013, must enroll in public or private kindergarten, unless the parent or legal guardian signs a waiver.

Registration will be held at each school Jan. 22-25.

To enroll a new student in kindergarten or first grade, you will need the following information:

• State-issued birth certificate
• Properly completed immunization certificate or religious exemption certificate
• Two forms of proof of residence (two documents required such as a current utility bill or copy of lease agreement)
