UPDATE: Simpsonville Man Charged in Fatal Wreck
Lawrence Brown III booked on felony DUI charges.

Update: A Simpsonville man has been charged in a wreck Sunday night that killed a man and injured his teen daughter.
According to state troopers, Lawrence Brown III, 26, was drunk when he struck a vehicle on Lee Vaughn Road at Scuffletown Road, killing 38-year-old Kevin Webster, also of Simpsonville, and injuring Webster's 15-year-old daughter, who was airlifted to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers said Brown struck the Websters' Toyota Camry after he took a right turn, lost control running off the right side of the road, then overcorrected and veered back across the roadway striking the victims' car on the driver's side.
The deceased victim and his daughter were both wearing seatbelts, Fox Carolina reported.
Brown, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was treated and later released from a local hospital. He was subsequently charged with felony DUI involving death and felony DUI involving great bodily injury, and booked into the county detention center.

The wreck happened around 8 p.m. Sunday on Lee Vaughn Road at Scuffletown Road. According to troopers, a pickup truck and car collided, killing the car's driver.
A juvenile in the car, and the pickup truck driver were injured and transported to a local hospital. There were no details on the extent of their injuries.
