New Businesses Coming to Simpsonville

A handful of new businesses are coming to Simpsonville, City Administrator Russ Hawes said Tuesday.

An International House of Pancakes (IHOP) is scheduled to open in August on Fairview Road, Hawes said. The 250-seat IHOP will be located in the renovated Movie Gallery store next to Arby's on Fairview Road, he said.

Further, just behind IHOP, an Ace Hardware store is set for a July 16 soft opening in the space formerly occupied by the Hancock Fabric Shop, he said.

In addition, Simpsonville's newest and biggest restaurant, the 500-seat Epic Buffet, opens this month in the former Ryan's steakhouse at 3940 Grandview Drive. 

Finally, a new Tutti Frutti frozen yogurt shop has opened for business in Fairview Market at 655 Fairview Road.
