• As Greenville's population booms, group plans how millions will be spent on roads over next 25 years (postandcourier.com) — Major long-term road upgrades are being planned for southern Greenville County, including the Fork Shoals and Georgia Road corridor just east of Simpsonville and the booming Golden Strip cities of Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Fountain Inn. A regional planning group will spend the next year modeling growth and gathering public input to decide how millions in federal transportation dollars are invested over the next 25 years.
