Religion: Services to Mark Holy Week in Simpsonville

Easter Sunday is just a few days away and several churches in the area have planned special services.

We have compiled a list of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Sunrise services that we know of this week.

March 29 — Good Friday

Life Spring will hold Good Friday services at 7 p.m.

Holy Cross Episcopla will hold a Labyrinth Walk at 10:30 a.m., followed by a noon service. Services also will be held at 7 p.m.

March 30 — Easter celebrations

First Baptist Church Simpsonville will hold the children's Easter celebration from 9 to 10:30 a.m. An egg hunt will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Little River Park in Laurens.

Brookwood will hold Easter services at 5 p.m.

Life Spring will show "The Passion" at 5 p.m.

Simpsonville United Methodist will hold an egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon.

March 31 — Easter Services, Mass

Simpsonville First Presbyterian will hold an Easter breakfast from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. followed by Easter services at 10:30 a.m.

First Baptist Church Simpsonville will hold sunrise services at 7 a.m. with Connecting Church at Little River Park.

Brookwood will hold Easter services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The Bridge will hold an Easter service at 10:30 a.m.

Calvary Baptist will hold Easter services at 10:30 a.m.

The Well will hold Easter services at 10:30 a.m.

Life Spring will hold an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Holy Cross Episcopal Church will hold Easter services beginning at 9 a.m. An egg hunt will follow at 10:30 a.m., with services at 11:15 to follow.

Simpsonville United Methodist Church will hold sunrise services at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast. Worship services will be held at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Abiding Peace will have a sunrise services at 7:30 a.m. Festival services will be held at 9:30 a.m.
