Report: Fountain Inn 'Puppy Mill' Raided

More than 150 animals rescued.

More than 150 animals — the vast majority of them dogs — were rescued Thursday from an alleged "puppy mill" in Fountain Inn.

Greenville County officials raided the operation at 1126 Dunklin Bridge Road in Fountain Inn, according to a WSPA report.

While the owner has reportedly not been located yet, according to the report, the animals are now in the possession of Greenville County Animal Care. The rescued animals include: 142 dogs, a rabbit, a cat, two ducks, 6 quail, and three chickens, the report said.
