The Greenville County Sheriff's Office SWAT team was assisting the Simpsonville Police execute a search warrant, according to Master Deputy Laura Campbell with the sheriff's office. Campbell said the Simpsonville PD obtained the search warrant and are making criminal charges in this case.   Original story: Hillcrest Middle School is on a modified lockdown as police investigate a possible meth lab near the school. District spokesman Oby Lyles notified the media at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday that the school was going on modified lockdown during the investigation. We will post more information as it becomes available.
