UPDATE: Simpsonville Restaurateur John Mastrokolias Killed in Wreck
Troopers said Mastrokolias, co-owner of Coach House Restaurant, ran off the roadway and struck a tree late Monday night.

Update: Simpsonville restaurateur John Mastrokolias, 59, co-owner of Coach House Restaurant on South Main Street, has been identified as the person killed in a one-vehicle crash Monday night on Woodruff Road just past Highway 14 near Five Forks, the Greenville County Coroner's Office said.
Authorities said Mastrokolias was driving his 2003 GMC pickup east on Woodruff Road when he veered off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Mastrokolias, who was not wearing a seat belt, died later at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Original story: A Simpsonville man is dead after a single-vehicle collision in Greenville County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the wreck happened just before 11 p.m. on S.C. Highway 146, near Godfrey Road, just past Highway 14 near Five Forks.

Troopers said the 59-year-old driver was travelling east on Highway 146 when he ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries.
