Heather Ellason, along with a Greenville man, sentenced to jail on numerous drug and trafficking charges.

A Simpsonville woman and her Greenville boyfriend have been sentenced to jail after a Christmas Eve traffic stop in Ohio yielded numerous drug charges against the pair.
Heather N. Ellason, 22, of 109 Martindale Drive, Simpsonville, was sentenced this past May. Her boyfriend, Christopher A. Burton, 26, of 111 Gordon St. Extension, Greenville, was sentenced July 12, according to a report by The Marietta (Ohio) Times.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped the pair Dec. 24 on Interstate 77 near Macksburg, Ohio for speeding. A search of the car revealed 105 Oxycodone pills and five grams of methamphetamine, three grams of marijuana and items that would indicate trafficking, according to Ohio authorities.
Each were charged with one third-degree felony count of possession of drugs, one third-degree felony count of trafficking in drugs and one fifth-degree felony count of possession of drugs.
Ellason was sentenced to 10 months and has begun serving her time in the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville, Ohio, the paper said. Burton was sentenced to six months, which he has already served, plus an additional five months which he is now serving in an Ohio correctional facility.
