UPDATE: Woman Arrested For Pointing Gun at Rep. Trey Gowdy
Incident occurred on Sunday evening.
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC -- Police said Upstate Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-4) was not injured when a woman pointed a gun at him Sunday night in a church parking lot in Spartanburg County.
Spartanburg Public Safety Department reported that Gowdy was able to drive away from the incident. The incident happened about 8:10 p.m. at First Baptist Church Spartanburg, while Gowdy was waiting to pick up his daughter.

The woman, Gloria Brackett, 52, was arrested following the incident.
