Best Friend Replica Train to Stop in Summerville

The replica locomotive Best Friend will arrive in Summerville noon Monday, Oct. 28, according to Summerville-Dorchester Museum officials.

The train won't roll in on the tracks but by truck. The train is being transported and will be unwrapped and displayed for one day only, Chris Ohm, Summerville-Dorchester Museum director, told the Post and Courier.

It will take two trucks to carry the train. There will be no other public stops of the train convoy, Ohm told Patch.
