Bomb Threat at Ashley Ridge High, Situation Clear
District says thorough search revealed threat to be a hoax.

Ashley Ridge High students were evacuted for an hour Friday after a bomb threat was called into the school, according to a Dorchester County School District Two statement.Β
The threat was determined to be a hoax after a police search aided by a canine unit. Law enforcement gave the "all clear." The fire drill occurred at around 11:45 a.m. Friday.
Dorchester Two released this statement: "Any situation that could be considered a danger to students and staff is always treated seriously."

Dorchester Two spokeswoman Pat Raynor said police are investigating but don't have anyone in custody yet. She said "consequences andΒ discipline for a threat of this nature would be serious."
