Driver Accused of DUI in School Bus Wreck
Samuel D. Brown of Ladson charged with driving under the influence Thursday.

Charleston County deputies say the man who allegedly caused a three-car wreck Wednesday in Ladson that involved a school bus was under the influence.
Samual D. Brown, 60, of Ladson was charged with driving under the influence and open container Thursday.Β
Brown was the driver of the black in color Chrysler who collided with a trailer being pulled by a white in color Ford F-150 truck. The collision caused the truck to veer into the path of the school bus which struck the truck. Five students and two vehicle occupants including Brown were transported from the scene with minor injuries.

During the wreck investigation several open containers of beer were found in Brownβs vehicle.
Brown who was still hospitalized was issued citations for the listed charges and is scheduled for Magistrates court on May 2.
