Free Wi-Fi Around Town? Summerville Says Yes

Google has teamed up with the Town of Summerville to provide free wi-fi in public places.

Summerville Free Wi-Fi will allow residents, visitors and businesses to access the internet from Downtown Summerville.

The project is funded by Google and administered by the Town. It showcases a shared commitment to developing, attracting, nurturing and promoting the area’s knowledge economy.

An official announcement will be made 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Town Hall.
