Charleston County Sheriff's Office has named a Hanahan woman as the suspect in causing Tuesday's wreck on Lincolnville Road in Ladson that lead to one person being airlifted to the hospital.
Julia Smith, 49, has been charged with felony DUI, simple possession of marijuana and driving under suspension third offense.
According to the report, a deputy witnessed Smith's vehicle cross the centerline and strike a vehicle traveling the opposite direction while driving down Lincolnville Road toward Ladson Road around 8 p.m. Tuesday. The head-on collision injured three people.
