• Fort Mill Armed Robbery of Burger King Suspect Arrested in Rock Hill (wrhi.com) — York County authorities have arrested a Rock Hill man accused of robbing the Burger King on Highway 21 in Fort Mill, and he’s now being held without bond at the York County Detention Center. Investigators say the suspect disabled cameras, forced the manager to open the safe, and left with about $200. The case remains under active investigation by local law enforcement. 
• York County Library board votes on controversial collection development policy (wbtv.com) — York County’s Library Board has voted 6–1 to change its collection policy, removing children’s and teen materials focused on gender identity and other LGBTQ themes from those sections. The move affects young readers across York County and has sparked strong reactions from parents, grandparents, and advocates concerned about access to diverse viewpoints and support for LGBTQ youth.
