• Recovering addict gets law enforcement certification (keloland.com) — A Belle Fourche resident who overcame meth addiction has now been unanimously certified to serve as a law enforcement officer in South Dakota, after initially being denied. State commissioners cited his candor, long-term sobriety, and strong character references from the Butte County Sheriff’s Office in reversing course, allowing him to again wear a badge and work with people facing similar struggles.
