Police Found Hammers, Bike Chains Hidden Ahead Of WLM Rally
During sweeps before and after the ultimately cancelled white nationalist rally, Murfreesboro police found a variety of potential weapons.

MURFREESBORO, TN — In sweeps before and after the ultimately cancelled "White Lives Matter" rally in Murfreesboro Saturday, law enforcement discovered a variety of potential weapons squirreled away in caches near the city's square.
In the end, of course, it was all for naught, as the organizers of the rally — who would have faced off against as many as 1,000 counter-protesters — decided to cancel the event and instead decamped for lunch at a secluded state park 45 minutes away, where they formed a human swastika. Later Saturday, an interracial couple was harassed and assaulted by a group of 20 to 30 people who were talking about the rally.

- 4 hammers
- 1 bike chain
- 1 butter knife
- 1 homemade sap (a rubber-covered concrete mallet)
- two bike chain locks
- one homemade spike
It is unknown by whom the items were hidden.
There was no property damage and no arrests during the Murfreesboro rally.
