Tennessee Authorities Warn Of Child Porn On Facebook
A link to child pornography is circulating on Facebook and authorities urge users not to share it and to report it immediately.
NASHVILLE, TN -- An alarming pornographic video of a child is circulating on social media and though authorities haven't yet determined its source, its tendrils have stretched into Tennesseans' inboxes and direct messages.
Authorities say the video of a young girl performing oral sex on a man may have originated in Alabama, though its unknown if the video was shot in Alabama or if the suspect or victim are Alabamians. Alabama's CrimeStoppers have received tips from Facebook users as far away as France who have unwittingly received the video, according to AL.com.
Law enforcement says its paramount users do not share the video, even in a good-hearted effort to help identify the suspect. They say to alert Facebook, which is working to remove all links to the video and is assisting in the investigation, and to contact local police.
