Early Morning Interstate Wreck Kills 1, Injures Another
A wreck in the early hours of Thursday morning on I-24 killed a man and injured his female passenger.

ANTIOCH, TN — A man is dead and a woman is critically injured following a wreck on Interstate 24 early Thursday morning.
A car travelling west on the interstate near the Old Hickory Boulevard exit left the roadway around 1:30 a.m., according to Metro Police crash investigators.

The car crashed through a fence, rolled and eventually came to rest in a parking lot on Gould Boulevard, some 600 feet from the interstate. Both people inside were ejected.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene and the woman is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.

I-24 was closed for more than two hours Thursday morning during the early stages of the ongoing investigation.
