• Woman almost kidnapped at apartment complex in South Nashville, affidavit says (wsmv.com) — A woman living off Murfreesboro Pike in South Nashville fought off an attempted kidnapping in her apartment parking lot on Christmas Eve, drawing help from a witness. Police quickly detained a suspect the victim and witness identified, and he now faces attempted aggravated kidnapping and public intoxication charges.
