  1. A Tennessee lottery player recently purchased a winning ticket from Tim’s Market & Deli in Franklin. The winning ticket resulted in a $1 million award from the Jun. 19 drawing β€” the 375th Tennessee Lottery ticket that's been sold and is worth $1 million or more. The estimated Powerball jackpot for Saturday's drawing is around $427 million. (williamsonherald.com)
  2. Tennesseean Top Workplaces recently awarded the City of Franklin a top workplaces 2023 honor, based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The survey measured 15 different critical success drivers, including alignment, execution, and connection, among others. Congratulations to the local government!   3. In case you missed it, a new restaurant and rooftop bar is slated to open in downtown Franklin. Bestia Mare will be a sister restaurant to Culaccino β€” which will be located just across the street β€” and feature seafood and drinks.   • Good news, Franklin: if you're planning to travel across the state soon for the Fourth of July holiday, you won't be delayed by construction. According to TDOT, the organization will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jul. 1, and lasting through 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Jul. 5.   • The Williamson County Fair is coming up in six weeks, and tickets go on sale soon. The fair will feature a butterfly garden and baby chick hatchery, BMX trick-riders, a Kardenni magic show, fireworks, and classic fair rides. Tickets can be purchased here starting Tuesday, Jul. 4.   • Williamson County Parks and Recreation's main facilities will be closed next Tuesday, Jul. 4 in observance of the July 4 holiday. Weather permitting, the county's outdoor pools and splash parks will remain open from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (Williamson County Parks and Recreation)
