• Franklin businessman sentenced to nine years for $4.6 million fraud, tax crimes (fox17.com) — A Franklin businessman has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison for stealing more than $4.6 million from 45 clients and committing tax fraud. Prosecutors say he abused online access to local clients’ bank accounts, diverted tax refunds, and spent the money on personal luxuries, while a judge ordered roughly $4.5 million in restitution.
   

• New BNA shuttle service launches with free parking and WiFi buses (newschannel5.com) — A new Gray Line “Air-line” shuttle now links Franklin’s Cool Springs Conference Center with Nashville International Airport, offering free parking, WiFi-equipped buses, and $25 one-way fares. Running about eight trips daily from 3 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., the service aims to cut traffic, reduce airport parking costs, and give Franklin travelers a more predictable ride to BNA.
