- One person died after a shooting in nearby Nashville on Saturday evening at the 900 block of Cannon Street. Fredrick Sparks, 32, was found by Metro Nashville police around 10:20 p.m. with a single gunshot wound. Sparks was taken to a local medical center where he died. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (615) 742-7463. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
- The top 25 most expensive property transfers from Dec. 19-21, 2022 in Williamson County have been released. The most expensive came in at $5.2 million at 7227 Haley Ind Dr., #400 in Nolensville. The lowest on the list was $1.29 million at 721 Sedley Road in Nolensville. (Williamson Source)
- A man who had two charges of felony murder, which were dropped in 2018, was arrested in Nashville on Jan. 10. James Simpson reportedly bailed out of a vehicle that police were following; officers found individually packaged cocaine, various pills, and four cellphones among other things inside the vehicle. Simpson was arrested on charges of marijuana with intent to sell and cocaine with intent to sell and is currently in custody with a bond of $100,000. (WZTV)
