  1. A Nashville woman was arrested after a three-month-old baby died in her care. According to the Metro Police, the suspect ran an illegal daycare from her Bellevue apartment, watching at least six children unattended. She has been charged with six counts of child neglect, one for each child in her care. (News Channel 5)
  2. Over the weekend, The Blackberry Jam Music Festival celebrated 20 years at Boyd Mill Farm. Filled with tunes, fireflies, and lively spirits, the Blackberry Jam Music Festival brought people together through music for decades before the owners announced there wouldn't be another. Throughout the years, the festival brought together music lovers and raised money for the Hard Bargain Association of Franklin. (Williamson Herald)
  3. A Tennessee man was shot and pistol wiped on Friday morning in downtown Nashville. According to reports, the victim was approached from behind, shot in the buttocks, and beaten with a pistol. The investigation is still underway, but the victim was brought to a local hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. (WKRN)
