- The Nashville International Airport, down the road from Franklin, opened its new terminal on Tuesday. The multi-story terminal now allows travelers to enter the airport at its center and offers 12 new concessions and 14 additional security lanes with 3D scanners. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
- In a previous newsletter, we reported the news about the $1.5 million Franklin mansion that became known for being sold as-is after being declared a total loss due to a fire late last year. The house listing, in particular, drew attention because of the photo of the mansion on fire. The owner and seller recently reported that the estate sold several days after being listed. (Newsweek)
- Franklin's FirstBank Amphitheater has several events planned for the upcoming May to October season. The current schedule for the outdoor venue includes Dermot Kennedy on Jun. 6, Kidz Bop on Jul. 28, and Goo Goo Dolls with O.A.R. on Aug. 25. Tickets for the events are on sale now.
