- Williamson County Mayor Rodgers Anderson formally promised better cell phone coverage during Wednesday's State of the County address. The mayor reports that the county currently has many areas where cell phone service drops significantly. The county is investing millions to rectify the issue. It is unclear when service will be improved exactly. (WZTV)
- The Land Trust for Tennessee is celebrating the protection of 130 acres in Franklin. The property is known as the Kinnie Property and is along Kinnie Road. The conservation easement will permanently conserve the property along a highly visible area near the Harpeth River. The organization has conserved more than 133,000 acres of land since 1999. - The African Heritage Society of Williamson County has presented students with $9,000 in scholarships. The Williamson County students each received a $1,000 scholarship.
