• Franklin High School Band heads to California for 2026 Rose Parade (wkrn.com) — Franklin High School’s band is in California this week, proudly representing Franklin in the 2026 Rose Parade after years of preparation. More than 200 students are marching, some with family ties to the school’s 1996 Rose Parade appearance, and will also perform at Disney and visit major attractions during their eight-day trip.

The team now turns quickly to a Monday night matchup with Lambert, which has been consistently scoring 55-plus points, setting up a challenging test to close out the year.
