- Franklin's Bluegrass Along the Harpeth returns this weekend. The festival began in 1991 and returns every 4th weekend in July. The festival will be held in Franklin's town square. The festival is free and will be on Jul. 22 and Jul. 23. Click for the full schedule. (Williamson Source)

- Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson presented this year's State of the County address on Tuesday. The presentation was given at the county's Williamson Medical Center luncheon at Franklin Marriott Cool Springs conference center. More than 400 business leaders were in attendance. Anderson highlighted that 75 percent of the county's budget is spent on school expenses. 17.7 percent of the budget is for the sheriff's office and court systems. (Williamson Herald)
