Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:

1. A Franklin mansion that went up in flames in September of last year is now for sale. The mansion was declared a total loss from the fire and has a comical listing on Zillow for around $1.5 million. (Fox 17 News)
2. A former Williamson County Sheriff’s deputy received a $75,000 settlement from a lawsuit alleging four male deputies sexually harassed her. Deputy Jamie Haynes was no longer employed with the office as of Dec. 5, 2022, but it is unclear whether she resigned or was fired. Neither Haynes’ attorney nor an attorney for the sheriff’s office issued comments on the settlement. (WSMV4)
3. A Tennessee lawmaker is proposing a new bill to legalize medical cannabis in the state. Rep. Jesse Chism (D-Memphis) filed the bill, allowing residents to register for a medical cannabis card under a physician’s guidance. (WREG)
