- A Franklin mansion that went up in flames in September of last year is now for sale. The mansion was declared a total loss from the fire and has a comical listing on Zillow for around $1.5 million. (Fox 17 News)
- A former Williamson County Sheriff’s deputy received a $75,000 settlement from a lawsuit alleging four male deputies sexually harassed her. Deputy Jamie Haynes was no longer employed with the office as of Dec. 5, 2022, but it is unclear whether she resigned or was fired. Neither Haynes’ attorney nor an attorney for the sheriff’s office issued comments on the settlement. (WSMV4)
- A Tennessee lawmaker is proposing a new bill to legalize medical cannabis in the state. Rep. Jesse Chism (D-Memphis) filed the bill, allowing residents to register for a medical cannabis card under a physician’s guidance. (WREG)

- Join Visit Franklin in welcoming 20 local songwriters competing for a spot in the annual Tennessee Songwriters Week! The qualifying competition will occur at the Harpeth Hotel on Monday, Jan. 30 at 5:00 p.m. The event is free to the public! (Visit Franklin, TN via Facebook)
- This upcoming week is the annual A. Marshall Hospitality Restaurant Week! Throughout the week-long event, you’ll be able to find food specials and giveaways across all 12 participating restaurants, including Burger Dandy and Americana Taphouse in Franklin.
