Early Morning Illicit Franklin Teen Pool Bash Ends In Gun Charge
Franklin Police busting an early-morning pool party arrested an 18-year-old on a gun charge and issued several underage drinking citations.

FRANKLIN, TN -- A raucous drugs- and drink-fueled early-morning pool party in a Franklin subdivision ended with a gun charge for an 18-year-old and drug, alcohol and curfew charges for several others, police said.
At 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the Fieldstone Farms subdivision pool on a noise complaint as several teenagers were allegedly swimming after-hours, according to a police report. When the officers arrived, they spotted one young man leaping a fence and running away.

The officers were able to catch-up to the fleeing youngster and reportedly found a semi-automatic handgun, drugs and drug paraphernalia in his backpack. Jackson Farris, 18, of Nashville is charged with evading arrest, drug possession, felony drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a handgun, criminal impersonation, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He remains jailed on $64,000 bail and is due in court June 14.
