Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. Franklin Police and Crime Stoppers released a video of a suspect driving away with a stolen forklift from a Walmart parking lot. Police hope that the truck used by the suspect is unique enough that someone knows the owner. Crime Stoppers and Police are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. (Franklin TN)
  2. The Williamson County Sheriff's Office in Franklin asked the community to be on the lookout for two suspects who bailed from a stolen car after a pursuit on Interstate 840 near mile marker 19 on Saturday, Feb. 18. Deputies were searching near Davis Hollow south of Leipers Fork and ask the public to call 911 if you see anything suspicious. (WCSO Sheriff via Twitter)
  3. At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 South in Franklin on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), three vehicles were involved in the incident which led to the closure of two southbound lanes of I-65 near McEwen Drive. Those lanes have since opened. The THP also said there were reports of injuries from the crash, but the number and nature of those injuries were unknown at the time. (WKRN)
