Franklin mayor Ken Moore says he'll decide within two weeks if he'll run to replace U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, who is running for Senate.

FRANKLIN, TN — Franklin mayor Ken Moore may jump into the race to succeed outgoing U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, who is running for Senate following Bob Corker's surprise announcement he won't seek re-election.

State Sen. and former U.S. Army Secretary nominee Mark Green, a Republican, and Democrat Justin Kanew, a former contest on "The Amazing Race," have already announced for the race.
"It would be an extremely difficult decision," Moore told The Tennessean. "I love Franklin so much, and we have had a lot great things happen and a lot of things on the drawing board. Running is not something I had been looking for. When I got to be mayor, it wasn’t something I was looking for either."
