Franklin Police Seeking Victims of Vehicle Burglaries

Three suspects were apprehended early Monday morning. Franklin Police expect there are more victims.

FRANKLIN, TN — After capturing three suspects accused of stealing from unlocked cars, Franklin Police are encouraging any other potential victims in the overnight burglaries to come forward.

The suspects were captures at 6:45 a.m. Monday after first attempting to flee when officers arrived. According to police, an alert Southwinds Apartments resident reported seeing the men checking car door handles in the parking lot.

Officers found several vehicles that appeared to have been burglarizing, but they believe there could be more.

The suspects apparently targeted only unlocked vehicles, so there was no broken glass or other forced entry, according to police.

Franklin Police are asking anyone who finds that their vehicle was burglarized during the overnight hours to report it by calling 615-794-2513.
